I tracked Lola Grace down to Honey's house and begged Hope to let me have her. Emory had way too much princess energy for me to handle without a friend. It was a blissful 4 hours for me while they planned a show that has been in the works for months, got ready for a yard sale, and explored the yard as only princesses can.

Packy Night Night
The plan was to get a picture of Packy sucking his thumb. He only sucks it when he is in his bed so I tried to put him down and snap a quick shot. Of course he knows what the camera is so as soon as he saw it he stood up and started posing. I did get one of him sitting up doing it but it is so sweet when he gathers his blanket, gets his thumb, and settles in for the night. (BTW-the white stuff on his face is lotion. He has apparently inherited his dad's extremely dry skin. Sorry Pacs!)

Scrapbook Pages
I got inspired last night and did 3 scrapbook pages. The first one is of Packy and his crazy eyes, the second is of Hattie getting busted eating cereal, and the third is of Jay and his grumpy face at age 3 and 6. I don't know how to take good pictures of my pages but this gives you the general idea.

Is it OK?
Is it OK that I like to bite my baby's bottom after I dry him off from his bath? I can't help it. It's too cute.

Sweet Em
I was not feeling well today.
Emory wanted to play.
All I could do was lay on her bed.
That was fine with her.
She turned the game to doctor.
After examining my heart, knees, and ears she took my temperature.
I asked her what it was and she said "sad".
I asked her what to do about it and she said "bubble gum".
If only it were that easy.

We miss you B
Jason and I went to IKEA yesterday. Packy went too. He did not sleep the entire way up there or during any of the shopping. We went to Ballard Designs Outlet, Atlantic Station (awesome new Atlanta shopping area that has a West Elm-yea!), and then IKEA. We are remodeling our the room we call "the long room". It is 31x9 with tons of windows and two huge openings in to other rooms. We have decided to zone it in to 3 zones: book reading area with window seats and bookshelves, movie watching with a comfy couch, and an office/computer area that will help me keep all of my "paper work" in one organized place. Jason had never been to IKEA and he was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff they have. We bought nothing but I made him sit on tons of couches and chairs so he could get a good feel and know what we needed when the time comes. Packy was amazed at all of the lights and people. Jason really wanted Betsy to be there with us so she could give her "clean lines" New York opinion. Packy and me agree-we miss B!

Tybee Highlights
We had a great time at Tybee for New Years. Good food, good friends (aka family), good times.
Thanks Mom and Dad!
Emory LOVES to swing on the porch.
Hattie has a new smile and some new hair. See the curls in the back? I put it in a pony tail but her mom did not like it.
Jay loves to dig big, big, holes at the beach.
Packy liked crawling on the beach and eating sand and shells.
This is the car dump. Everyone in the family has a bag. Jay and Emory also each have a toy bag. I also have an "electronics" bag that carries the camera, wii, cell phone chargers, etc. Since Jason was post-op on this trip I carried everything to Tybee and back to Macon. No need to worry about his operation. It just means that we will not be having any more kids.
