We have wondered where Packy came from since he was born. He doesn't really look like me or Jason or our baby pictures. While going through the attic I found an old album with this picture in it. Now we know who he looks like....UNCLE TODD!
A girl who used to live across the street from me has always been a mentor mom to me. I don't know if she even knows it. I have always loved how she doesn't sweat the small stuff and gives her children freedom to express themselves. Today Emory had a cute outfit on that she accessorized with a sweat band on each arm, each leg, and around her head. She was quite proud of her outfit and since she has the confidence to pull it off I let her wear it to school. Why not? She is in 4K and has her own sense of style that is very different than my plain jane style. Her teacher thought that she was funny and she was as confident in her outfit after going to school as she was when I dropped her off. The ballet picture is another one that she put together for "her show" that is a continual work in progress. She also picked the pose.
Happy Birthday Packs! You really enjoyed your free balloon from Kroger and your cupcake! Jason and I were looking at these pictures and wondering if we think he's so cute because he's ours or is he really a cute baby?
2:11 am jay: Mom I need a tissue. (he is on the top bunk so getting down is way too much trouble) I go to his room with tissue in hand. jay: Something is crawling on the ceiling. I look and see a *medium size roach. It's Macon, we have roaches no matter where you live but for the person in the top bunk this is way too close. I get a swiffer, hit the roach, it falls to the ground and I hit it again. I then get the tissue and pick it up and flush it. jay: Mom I still need a tissue. I hand him a sock off of the floor. me: Just use this and I'll wash it tommorow. This is the real life of a mom. *If it had been a giant roach I would have immediately woke Jason up. I do NOT do big ones.
It's official. I tried to stop it as best I could but Packy is walking. He is still much faster crawling but he wants to walk. The dress Emory is modeling is one that mom made for me and then Betsy wore it and now Emory. She loves her dresses that come from Mimi.
