Love

Is there anything better than having your baby look up at you while you rock him and smile?

sad pacs

When my babies are sick I forget what they are like when they are well. Packy has been really sick since Saturday. Fever close to 105 and very listless. So sad. We are going with a virus right now and we are hoping it has run its course. I miss the Packy that smiles and laughs and tries to run. I am cherishing holding him 24 hours a day while he is so still because it never happens. Rocking him all day. Loving him and praying over him. Sometimes I think God uses sick babies to slow us down and just be.

My Little Man

My red headed leprechaun looks so grown up today in his shorts.
How can it go by so fast? Mamas, you better love on those sweet babies because they do not stay little long. Of course it grows to be a different kind of sweet love. Yesterday when I picked Jay up from school he looked so handsome. I just wanted to hug him so I did. In front of the other kids. And he let me! Even though he is a big old first grader he still is OK with hugging his mom. I loved it!

Cousin Fun

What could be more fun than making faces in the back of Mimi's pickup truck?
I love how Hattie "helped" Packy his funny face. Hattie we had so much fun while you were here and we miss you already!

Weekend Wrap Up

Karate Tournament at 10am in WR on Saturday (Jason and Jay did not get home until almost 5). We ALL went to support Jay. It was fun to watch him do things that he would not have done a year ago. Can I tell you again how much I love Mr. Johnny? I am so thankful that he is in Jay's life!!! The picture of him below is with Master Ahn, Johnny's dad. He is the rock star of karate!

Hat Roo

Betsy asked Hattie what she wanted to be when she grew up.

Hattie replied, "I am going to be a Hattie".

This is Monday

Packy is picked up out of bed sound asleep and put in the car. Of course he is so used to this that it does not phase him and he is happy as a lark.

Emory is in ballet gear ready to pick up Jay. These are Packy's smiley eyes when he sees his brother.
Jay eating a snack before going to karate. Dropped Jay off at karate and took Emory to ballet and Packy is still all smiles.
